Mega Update
A LOT has happened since January, people!
Last time you heard from me, I told you that a new book was in the works. That is still true!!
A lot has happened since then, mostly things I had no idea were going to happen. God has sustained us through quite a bit of drama since January. But through all the drama, we are healthy and happy, and even able to celebrate some pretty amazing things together as a family.
But first, what has happened in three short months?
Book Therapy Podcast
We are in the middle of Season 4 with incredible guests. Week after week, it is an honor to hear their stories, grow and learn alongside them, and dive into the books they have written. What a gift. I know you will love these episodes, and more to come before summer break!

Mooooore podcast episodes
I have also been able to appear on several podcast shows, and have really enjoyed getting to encourage others with our infertility, foster care, and adoption stories. I’ve gotten to talk about how our marriage has grown through the years, and what it is like to have an open adoption and growing relationship with our daughters’ birthmother.
Again, what an honor!

Exciting book news!
Last month, I signed a contract with Ambassador Publishing. We are in communication about the next book they have agreed to publish. As soon as I have more news, I will pass it on. I am so excited to share this book with you, as it’s been in the works for almost two years now.
We now live in the North

Early in the year, Kevin and I had to make a very hard decision. After two years of foster parenting teen girls in South Carolina and then North Carolina, we decided to step away.
It broke my heart, but also renewed my faith in God that he has all things under control in his sovereignty. Saying goodbye to the 30 teens we have taken care of in two years has been very hard emotionally for me. I loved them. I still love them. I will pray for them forever.
But, for now, God has led us to Ohio where we are reuniting with old friends, exploring snow, and making new memories as a family.

All my best,

Hooray! 🎉🎉Excited about your book! And you moved?!?
